NEW EDITIONS
Iconoclast Editions' releases in August include a great selection of new multiples and printed matter. Included are Albert Oehlen's limited edition artist book Magenta and a new print by Robert Williams -- an amazing 144 color silkscreen print that took 18 years to produce. More info about the story behind this piece is on the website. We have signed copies of the artist book and catalog for Jonah Freeman and Justin Lowe's infamous and legendary Hello Meth Lab In The Sun project. We have just published Berry Van Boekel's new artist book Top 100 2009 - an edition of only 100 - a selection of paintings and drawings from Berry's favorite musicians from the past year; an ongoing project since 1983. Also available are Ed Templeton's new catalog The Cemetary of Reason; limited edition copies of Kim Gordon's new book Performing/Guzzling which is signed and includes a print; an edition of 50 signed copies of Tim Barber's Highschool; and Peter Sutherland's artist book Coming Home. Also featured: Michael Dumontier and Micah Lexier's artist book, Clock, a varied edition of only 25. Rounding out August's selections we have new printed matter by Takashi Homma, Rita Ackermann and Andrew Wekua, Paperrad, Royal Art Lodge, Mike Mills, Raymond Pettibon, Clare Rojas, Erin Rosenthal and Andrew Jeffrey Wright, Devendra Banhart, Lizzi Bougatsos, Brian Degraw, and Jo Jackson.

PROJECTS
The Iconoclast Pop-Up is currently on view at the Wexner Center's renowned bookstore in Columbus, featuring an array of limited editions, multiples and rare printed matter. More info here. The other major project involving Iconoclast is the traveling museum exhibition in Brazil entitled TRANSFER, which opened in Sao Paulo on July 18. TRANSFER will be on view at the Brazilian Cultural Pavilion, in Sao Paulo’s Ibirapuera Park, through October. TRANSFER is an exhibition showcasing contemporary visual art, street art, skateboarding (via photos, videos and live performances), independent music, as well as underground comics and fanzine art from the last two decades. Featured within the framework of this concept, original artwork and site-specific installations from internationally acclaimed Brazilian and American artists with roots in urban culture will be on view. The exhibition highlights the history and complexity of these interrelated creative cultures between both nations that now are merging with the mainstream art world on an international scale. On view will be a multitude of various prints and editions published by Iconoclast, including the Beautiful Losers Portfolio.
